We are an incorporated, non-profit recreational/social club composed of a diverse group of people from around Silicon Valley. We are downhill and crosscountry skiers and snowboarders, as well as backpackers, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. We have been having fun in the Sierras for over 50 years now! We own the lodge shown at right and use it all year long. Members can make reservations by phone or e-mail. The lodge holds up to 19 people but it is rarely full. See the FACILITIES tab at the top of the page for more information.
The Southbay Ski Club is a member of the Bay Area Snow Sports Council (BAC). Their website is at BAC They offer discount lift tickets, safety info, ski trips, support several charities and a whole lot more. Check them out.

News

For the upcoming 2010/2011 ski season we are changing our meeting location and date. We will meet at Tony Roma's in San Jose on the second Wednesday of each month from November through May. Our first meeting will be November 10th at 6:30pm. Complete information is listed below. Our 2010 Annual kickoff BBQ and party will be held again at Vasona Lake County Park in Los Gatos. This years date is Sunday, October 17. Complete details will be posted during the Summer.

Meetings

Our regular club meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month starting on November 10th this year and continuing every second Wednesday until May 2011.
